So when we arrived at the "hospital" for a simple cast removal, I was surprised also to find that the Grandfather was due for ANOTHER surgery!
Actually, we all were surprised. The doctor told us that one of the rods in the Grandfather's foot had fallen out while he was at home and that this would require another surgery. This 3rd surgery would be necessary if he wanted to walk again.
So there was no other option. The next day the surgery began and everything went okay. It took a little longer than expected (like 6 hours) but with time he will heal and hopefully soon walk.
