Only in India # 40-42

Only in India #40:

Only in India do you see men
stack bicycles higher that one
would think possible with
every non-portable thing
known to man.

Here we see a man carrying
large stacks of egg crates!

What a difficult job and out-
standing feat to balance them!

Only in India #41: The constant use of tractors in construction.

Here are the kids sitting on one of the common sights in India, the tractor. Because of their smaller size and agility they are used in India for construction of many large buildings. We hear them often, especially at night when most trucks are allowed in the city because of the traffic problems they cause. This makes for very difficult nights when you hear them putting and bouncing over the large potholes. It makes us thankful when the power is on and the A/c's drown out the noise.

Only in India #42: The marriage want adds.

In a culture where marriage is arranged, it can be difficult to meet someone that meets the expectations of the family. It can be more difficult considering that they never meet until the wedding night. How can you meet the perfect someone that fits all the families needs and expectations if the only options are in one's own family and friend network?

Insert the marriage want adds... whatever you want in a husband or wife, write it down (in a small 3 column space :)  . Many list religion, caste, and age but one of the primary factors is education (especially for males). But if you can sneak a photo on the online sites, it can make or break you as well.

Some examples are as follows:

Chandra Depack seeks a wife with PHD in Biomechanics and exceptional skills in research.

Or...

Seeking a man with a thriving business in the IT field. Must be handsome and charming.
Also must own a nice sports car. :)
